Dog and Cat Dentistry

dentistry

Tartar buildup and gingivitis in dogs and cats leads to the same potential medical complications that face humans. These include severe pain, systemic infection, jaw fracture, and irreversible devastating effects on the kidneys, heart, liver, and lungs.

Keeping your pet healthy through their geriatric years requires good dental health care starting in their first year. Please stop by for a free teeth brushing demonstration.

Using the latest piezoelectric dental equipment, we thoroughly clean, evaluate, polish, and seal each individual tooth. Extractions, X-rays, and oral surgeries are also performed in our dental suite.

One key difference with our patients is the level of cooperation. Dental cleanings require anesthesia, which in turn requires pre–anesthetic blood work to assure there are no hidden medical conditions that may be exacerbated by the anesthesia.
