Pet Grooming and Salon
Treat your pet to a spa day. From bath, brush, and nail trim to a breed specific professional style, Natalie is here to meet all of your grooming needs.
Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, and Silky Terriers are just a few of the breeds with characteristic looks and a beautiful coat that require special pet grooming and more importantly a special groomer. With over 20 years of combined salon and pet grooming experience, Natalie Mansfield has brought her personal touch to the Willow Creek Animal Hospital pet salon. Natalie’s salon experience and Cosmetology degree compliments her grooms with exceptional detail scissor work. This is made possible because of her calming nature and connection with her grooms. Dogs know she’s a good person! Natalie is one of those special people that always has a positive attitude. This wonderful personality trait shows in all of her grooms.
Lifetime Sanford native, Natalie may be seen at Lee County High School cheering her son’s football team or helping out at a Relay For Life fundraiser. When asked about her passion for grooming, Natalie explained that after surviving breast cancer she decided to refocus on the important things in life, her family, her faith, and grooming which isn’t a job to her, it’s a love.
Photos of Natalie’s grooms can be found on the Willow Creek Animal Hospital Facebook page. We enjoy taking and sharing photos of all our furry friends at Willow Creek. Please ‘like’ our Facebook page to see the wonderful pictures on your phone or tablet.
Grooming sessions at Willow Creek tend to be an all day affair. With drop offs between 7 and 9 am, we can accommodate most schedules. Spa days begin with a very relaxing deep massage bathing session. Our high quality essential fatty acid shampoo is the start of a great groom. For sensitive skin we have a hypo-allergenic specialty shampoo at no extra cost. Next a vigorous hand towel dry then the velocity dryer. This handheld high speed air hose removes an incredible amount of loose hair from their coat. Once when Natalie was drying a Great Pyrenees, it looked like it was snowing in the grooming salon! After they are fully dried, it’s back to one on one time with Natalie for the groom. (We do not use dryer kennels, heated dryers, or any other devices that may create an unsafe situation.) Regardless of the coat or desired style, Natalie delivers! Pick up appointments are scheduled for the afternoon.
While your baby is with us at Willow Creek, rest assured that every patient in our hospital has been fully vaccinated. Intestinal parasite tests are run every 6 months. All patients admitted are given a Capstar pill. This fast acting pill assures you always enter a flea free hospital! In our fenced yard, everyone gets hand walked at least 4 times each day.
